Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Aux collects account information such as your email address, username, display name, date of birth and profile details. We also process content you submit, including streams, messages, comments, reports and uploaded media.

2. Technical and activity data

We process information needed to operate Aux, including login activity, settings, follows, favourites, viewing activity, stream status, moderation records, device permissions and connection or signalling data.

3. How information is used

• To create and secure accounts.
• To provide profiles, livestreaming, chat, direct messages and notifications.
• To apply age-appropriate restrictions and safety controls.
• To prevent abuse, investigate reports and enforce platform rules.
• To process subscriptions, donations and creator payouts when enabled.

4. Visibility and sharing

Public profile and stream information can be viewed by other users. Private account information is not intended to be public. Information may be shared with infrastructure, authentication, hosting and payment providers where necessary to operate Aux.

5. Direct messages and livestreams

Direct messages are stored so participants can access their conversations and so safety rules can be enforced. They are not currently end-to-end encrypted. Livestream media is delivered using browser media connections, while associated stream and signalling records are processed through Aux infrastructure.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect users. Aux uses access controls and database security policies, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may update eligible profile and privacy settings through Aux. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a copy of personal information.

8. Children and contact

Aux is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, or you have another privacy request, contact elijahjay@aux.watch.
